Eines der hier gezeigten Panoramen der Windmühle Spetzerfehn habe ich auch zur Best of 2006 World Wide Panorama Aktion eingereicht.

Theo Steenblock führt mit seinem Sohn die letzte kommerziell betriebene Windmühle Ostfrieslands. Sie wurde 1886 erbaut und ist heute noch weitgehend im Originalzustand - mit Zahnrädern und Wellen aus Holz.

One of the Panoramas shown here is also my contribution to the best of 2006 world wide panorama event.

Theo Steenblock and his son run the last commercially operated windmill in eastern frisia. It was built in 1886 and is in almost original state - whith gear and wheels made of wood.

Mahlboden (2. Stock) - milling (2.) floor
	In dem gelben Gehäuse läuft der große Mahlstein - In the yellow housing works the big millstone

3. Stock - 3. floor
	Der dritte Stock wird hauptsächlich als Lager und für zusätzliche Maschinen verwendet - The third floor is mainly used as storage and for some other machines.

4. Stock- 4. floor
	Hier befindet sich ein weiterer Mahlstein. Neben dem Ausgang zur Galerie liegt ein defektes Holz-Zahnrad und eine hölzerne Antriebswelle wie man sie oberhalb in Aktion sehen kann. - Here is another millstone. Beside the door to the gallery there is a broken wooden gear wheel and a wooden shaft as you can see them working above.

Stirnradboden (5. Stock) - spur gear (5.) floor
	Das Getriebe aus zwei riesigen Holz-Zahnrädern verdoppelt die Drehzahl. - The gear made of two gigantic wooden gear wheels doubles the rotation speed.

Kappenboden - cap floor
	Die Kappe (oberhalb) wird mittels einem kleinen Windrad automatisch in den Wind gedreht. - The cap (above) is turned into the wind automatically by a small wind wheel.
